This tranquil bushveld farm getaway nestles in between the hills of the Waterberg region, just over an hour's drive from Pretoria.

With the sounds of the variety of birds combined with the peaceful setting, with stunning views over the bushveld, the variety of nearby attractions, makes this the ultimate getaway to unwind and relax.

The farm is set on a piece of bushveld just over 20 hectares filled with an amazing variety of indigenous trees and shrubs, making it ideal for garden or tree lovers, bird watchers and any other nature lovers.

The farm house includes 3 on-suite bedrooms as well as a semi-outside room with an outside shower, making it perfect to sleep between 8 – 10 people. All rooms are air-conditioned. The living area includes a large open plan kitchen, large living room with a TV (including DSTV and DVD player) and a covered patio with barbeque facilities.

The outside area includes another covered living area, an outside open fire place for a traditional South African ‘braai’ in the ‘lapa’ as well as a large swimming pool.

The farm hosts a number of small wildlife species such as small antelope (Klipspringers, Duikers, Bushbuck), warthogs, porcupines, monkeys and baboons, snakes; a very wide variety of birds and all the other usual small creatures.

Nearby golf courses include: Koro Creek Golf Course (10 minutes away), Euphoria Golf course (30 km away), Elements and Zebula making it idyllic for a golf getaway.

Donkerpoort Dam is just over 5 minutes drive from the farm, where fishing (carp, bream, black bass and barbell), boating, waterskiing and rowing is popular.

Modimolle (Nylstroom) a charming town famous for exports of grapes and other soft fruit including peaches and watermelons. Also known as the ‘Gateway to Africa Eden’ as the town is flanked by Nylsvlei Wetland and Waterberg Biosphere, both are tourist attractions and tourist destinations.

Nylsvley Bird Sanctuary and Floodplain As a part of a larger floodplain the area extends up to 16 000ha when fully wet. This a a most valuable breeding site for Southern African bird species. Of the 65 noted species some breed only here. This sanctuary has now been included in the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve (a Ramsar Site since 1998) this site is internationally approved by the UNESCO HQ in France and covers an area of of about 14 500square km.

Modimolle Museum - Charts the town's history and that of town resident JG Strijdom, one of the Apartheid Government's leaders.

Nylsvlei Bird and Nature Reserve  - Situated between Phagameng and Mookgopong is the biggest and best conserved flood plain in South Africa.

Old Locomotive - The original locomotive, bearing the name 'Nylstroom', used on the line between Pretoria and Nylstroom after the line was completed in 1898.

Old Reformed Church - The oldest church north of Pretoria, came into service in 1889.

Strijdom Nature Reserve - On the banks of a river tributary near the town.
